it’s finally the end of the month of July and I’m glad that this month is found over. I’m super expectant about the month of August because it’s my birth month. Yes, my birthday is loading and the truth is I’m just learning to be enthusiastic about birthdays.
Today is Monday and it being the last day of the month, I’ve decided to write about what I have been up to lately. I hope you find this an interesting read.
GRATEFUL: I’m over grateful to God for how July turned out. I’m sure the month of July would be the major part of my autobiography if I ever write one. I’m also grateful to all the wonderful people that read my blog. Thank you all for being part of this tiny space of mine.
REALISING: That God is intentional about me and that the plans he has for me are more than what I can even fathom.
WATCHING: More and more YouTube videos. I lately developed an interest in YouTube videos and I spend most of my evenings watching videos concerning godly relationships, business, natural hair and public speaking, digital marketing.
LEARNING: How to say No to unnecessary things. I’m someone that saying No is a such a big deal for because I hate confrontations but something happened lately that has made me realise that not knowing how to say No or refusing to address a situation might be detrimental to my existence.
EATING: NOTHING. Earlier in the month of July, my eating habit was improving and I was proud of myself. But now I hardly even remember to eat. I hope that would change about me in the month of August. But right now, I wouldn’t mind a box of pizza and a cold bottle of coke.
WISHING: I’m wishing for so many things right now that a full post might not be enough. However, I ultimately wish that I’d get a birthday gift. I’ve never received a gift and it would be my uttermost desire if I receive gifts on the 14th of August.
PRAYING: That God would increase my faith and make me trust him to perfect the good work he started in my life.
READING: The truth is, I didn’t read any book in particular through out the month of July because I was writing exams but I did a lot of online reading on blogging Search Engine Optimization, Reputation management, and self-development.
PLANNING: To stop procrastinating. I’ve discovered that I plan a lot and end up not doing half of all the things that I’ve planned. So this month, my plan is to stop procrastinating and put all my previous plans to work.
DECIDING: that stepping out of my comfort zone won’t kill me. I’ve decided to network more and reach out to people more. I’m someone that would not go out of my way to talk to people but I’m deciding that it’s time to make that change.
NOTICING: How people within my age group are getting engaged or married. Love is a beautiful thing, and I always shed a tear whenever I watch wedding proposals online. The recent one between Sir Arthur and Ronke Raji is still making me wish that Mr right would just find me fast.
LOVING: Pinterest more and more. I don’t know how Pinterest got my attention lately. I opened a Pinterest account as far back as 2015 but didn’t do anything with it until late last year. Lately, Pinning idea on Pinterest is like playing games for me. I just go there to pin ideas and make myself happy.
WEARING: As at the time this post was composed, I was wearing my favourite pop-socks and cardigan with Marilyn Monroe face on it. (too bad I don’t have a photo of it)
This is how the month of July went for me. Don’t forget to think about what you are thinking about. Remember that you are what you think about the most so be deliberate about your thoughts.
