SONG OF THE WEEK|| Let Praises Rise By Todd Galberth

Welcome to a new week and the tail end of May 2018. May has been an interesting month for me because a lot of things happened so fast that I didn’t even imagine would happen. How has been the month of May for you?

If this is your first time on the blog, I welcome you to my personal space and I’m delighted to have you here, the post you are currently reading is under the category song of the week. I usually pick a song per week and try to x-ray the meaning of the song while making the lyrics available for you to read through and a link to where you can download the song from.

This week pick is a song titled Let Praise Rise by TODD GALBERTH. This song for me just voice out my recent spiritual desires and as I listened to the song, I was just so sure that this was a song worth sharing on the blog with my readers.

The Chorus of the song is one that I particularly took interest in and I decided to search the scriptures to know what It means for God to be Glorified and my findings were like Rhema.

All Iwant is for your to be glorified

To glorify God means to acknowledge His greatness and give Him honour by praising and worshipping Him, because He and He alone, deserves to be praised, honoured and worshipped. But then I’m tempted to ask myself that if God has all the glory when they should we still constantly give the glory? I chronicle chapter 16 from verses 28 to 29 gave me the answer that I needed;

Ascribe to the Lord, all you families of nations,
ascribe to the Lord glory and strength.
29 Ascribe to the Lord the glory due to his name;
bring an offering and come before him.
Worship the Lord in the splendour of his holiness.

This means that glorifying God is the due He deserves for all the things he has done for us because truly we can’t repay him for the health and daily provision that he gives to us.  Glorifying God in everything means we honour Him in our thoughts and actions. Our thoughts are to be set on the things of God and everything that we do must constantly align with extolling his name.

Without Further Ado, here is the lyric of the Song LET PRAISES RISE;

We love you, Lord
And our hearts sing to you, Lord. You’re Holy God

Let praises rise from the inside
From the inside of me
May you delight in the inside
In the inside of me
Come fill my life from the inside
From the inside of me
Set me on fire from the inside
From the inside of me

CHORUS:

Cos all I want
Is for you
For you to be glorified
For you to be lifted high
All I want
Is for you
For you to be glorified
For you to be lifted high

VAMP:

Fill my life till all they see is you Lord
Glorify Your name
Fill my heart till all they see is you Lord
Glorify Your name
Fill my life till all they see is you Lord
Glorify Your name
Fill my heart till all they see is you Lord
Glorify Your name

Cos Iall I want is for you to be lifted High
